EMERGENCY ORDINANCE NO. 82-L
IN THE MATTER OF ENACTING THE SETTING OF FEES FOR SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE WELD
COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR RECREATION SANITATION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WELD COUNTY, COLORADO:
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, has the
authority under state statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter to establish
certain fees for services provided by the various departments of Weld County
Government, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County desires, through
this Ordinance, to set fees and charges for services provided by the Weld County
Health Department for recreation sanitation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Ordinance No. 82-L be, and hereby is, enacted setting the
fees for recreation sanitation services as follows:
A $150.00/pool permit fee. Activity in this option
would consist of four (4) inspections per year. An
inspection would consist of examination of the pool and
equipment for health and safety compliance, and an on-
site chemical analysis of pH and chlorine residual. Any
further activity would be charged according to the
following fee schedule:
Swim Pool Chemistry Inspection $ 46.00
Swim Pool Physical Inspection $ 73.50
Swim Pool Bacteriological Analysis . . . $ 73.50
Swim Pool Complaint and Investigation . . $ 35.00/hr
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Board that an emergency exists which requires
that this Ordinance No. 82-L is declared to be an emergency ordinance under the
provisions of Section 3-14 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter, due to the
health and safety of Weld County citizens, and such fees shall remain in full
force and effect until the Board ordains to change such fees.
