The State Impact Assistance/CDBG Advisory Committee reviewed the county's
application at its recent meeting in Golden. It recommended the project not be
funded since it appears more appropriate financing mechanisms are available.
I concur with the committee's recommendation and cannot offer funding for your
project. However, I've asked Don Sandoval to make himself available to assist
in exploring some of the other financing alternatives.
