HomeMy WebLinkAbout940336.tiff RESOLUTION RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND AMENDED SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT #519 FOR AN AGRICULTURAL SERVICE ESTABLISHMENT (CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS) IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - DROEGEMUELLER FARM WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 13th day of April, 1994, at the hour of 10:00 a.m. in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing the application of Droegemueller Farm, 27451 Weld County Road 388, Kersey, Colorado 80644, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Amended Special Review Permit #519 for an agricultural service establishment (construction business) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District on the following described real estate, to-wit: Part of the SWk of Section 10, Township 5 North, Range 64 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS, said applicant was not represented, and WHEREAS, at said hearing on April 13, 1994, the Planning staff informed the Board the applicant did not receive notification in time to meet the ten-day sign posting requirement; therefore, staff recommended the Board continue this matter to April 20, 1994, at 10:00 a.m. , and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and statements of those present, and, having been fully informed, finds that this request shall be continued to allow the applicant to post the necessary sign in a timely manner. Kirkmeyer Also present: Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison Planning Department representative, Gloria Dunn The following business was transacted: I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated March 23, 1994, and duly published March 31, 1994, in the Windsor Beacon, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Droegemueller Farm for a Site Specific Development Plan and Amended Special Review Permit for an agricultural service establishment (construction business) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Gloria Dunn, Planning Department representative, informed the Board the applicant did not receive notification in time to meet the ten-day sign posting requirement; therefore, she recommended the Board continue this matter to April 20, 1994, at 10:00 a.m. The applicant was not presented or represented at said hearing, and no public testimony was offered concerning the continuance of this matter. Commissioner Kirkmeyer moved to continue the request of Droegemueller Farm for a Site Specific Development Plan and Amended Special Review Permit for an agricultural service establishment (construction business) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District to April 20, 1994, at 10:00 a.m. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Hall, and it carried unanimously.
