EXPLANATION FOR ABATEMENT ON CORDON TURKEY FARMS
On April 6, 1988 an appraiser from the Assessor's office reappraised
all the buildings on Gordon Turkey Farms. Unfortunately he did not realize
that the buildings were spread over three separate parcels, therefore he
added all the buildings to parcel 007. We erred in continuing to assess
buildings to parcel 006 and 039 that were now being assessed to parcel 007.
Upon review of which turkey farms were still needing to be reappraised, we
discovered this error and immediately corrected the 1990 records.
These three parcels can not be combined into one parcel because each
parcel is in a different tax area.
