REGARDING PROJECT S 0053 (3), TO CONSIST OF IMRROVEMENTS
OINSTATE HIGHWAY NUMBER 60, EXTENDING APPROXIMATELY 3.274
MILES BETWEEN JOHNSTOWN AND MILLIKEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that they hereby approve a certain agreement with the State Highway
Commission of Colorado, a public corporation, for the use and benefit of the
Department of Highways of the State of Colorado, dated June 17, 1958, whereby
the County has reviewed and approved the Geometic Standards designated to govern
the construction of a Federal Aid Secondary Project to consist of improvements-
on State Highway Number 60, extending approximately 3.274 miles between Johnstown
and Milliken, Colorado, as per terms of said Agreement on behalf of Weld County
by signatures of the Board, as per attached Agreement and made a part of this
resolution. /

COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT entered into this 17th day of June 19 58 ,
by and between the County of Weld . party of the first part, and
THE STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION OF COLORADO, a public corporation for the use and
benefit of the STATE OF COLORADO, party of the second part, WITNESSETH that
WHEREAS, The Department has constructed, or proposes to construct, or
provide for the construction of, a project known as Project S 0053(3) approximately
3.274 miles long, W47ffAciapact extending between Johnstown
and Milliken on State Highway No. 60 in

WHEREAS, the said State Highway is part of the Federal Aid Secondary
System,
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with the Federal Aid Act of 1950, the
Parties have jointly reviewed the Geometric Standards governing the type of
construction for said Project and have agreed as follows:
That the 1957 Annual Average Traffic Volume, as determined from actual
vehicular count, by the Planning and Research Division of the Department is found
to be 1500 vehicles per day. Therefore, in accordance with approved and
established practices, the traffic volume twenty years hence is estimated to be
3150 vehicles per day. Consequently, the type of construction shall be that
designated as Type B-1 of the Geometric Standards dated August 1, 1952, more fully
described as follows:
The surface sha,L consist of Plant Mixed Asphalt , 24 feet
wide on a roadway 44 feet wide. The maximum grade shall be L.4v
percent and the curvature shall not exceed 5 degrees and 0 minutes.

design load of 2 Those structures having a length less than sixty (60)
feet shall have a clear roadway width, between curbs or wheel guards, of V
feet and those having a length of sixty (60) feet and over shall have a clear
roadway width of 2 feet.
This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the
Successors and assigns of the Parties Thereto.
This Agreement is executed with reference to the signatories on behalf of
the County by virtue of a resolution passed at the meeting of the Board of County
Commissioners held on Tuesday, June 17, 1958 a certified copy of which is
attached hereto.
