RE: SET HEARING DATE TO CONSIDER PETITIONS FROM VARIOUS PEST CONTROL DISTRICTS
TO EXTEND THEIR TERMINATION DATES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received petitions from three pest control districts
requesting a public hearing be held to determine if the termination date should
be extended, said districts are:
Eaton-Ault Pest Control District (#1)
Platte Valley Pest Control District (#6)
Southeast Weld Pest Control District (#4)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 35-5-104(7), C.R.S. , the Board deems it
advisable that said hearing be set for Wednesday, January 20, 1993, at or about
9:00 A.M.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the hearing to consider extension of the termination date
for the above mentioned pest control districts be, and hereby is, set for
Wednesday, January 20, 1993, at or about 9:00 A.M.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 30th day of December, A.D. , 1992.

DATE OF WEED DISTRICTS
To the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County
We, the undersigned District Advisory Committee for the Eaton-Ault Pest Control
District #1 do hereby petition the Board of County Commissioners, as per CRS 35-
5-104(7) , requesting an extension of the termination date of the district until
December 31, 1996. This Pest District will expire on December 31, 1992. The
Board of County Commissioners now must hold a public hearing, as per CRS 35-5-
104(7) , in order to determine whether to extend the termination date or not.
The weed species currently being managed in this pest district are; Canada
thistle, field bindweed and leafy spurge.

To the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County
We, the undersigned District Advisory Committee for the Platte Valley Pest
Control District #6 do hereby petition the Board of County Commissioners, as per
CRS 35-5-104(7) , requesting an extension of the termination date of the district
until December 31, 1996. This Pest District will expire on December 31, 1992.
The Board of County Commissioners now must hold a public hearing, as per CRS 35-
5-104(7) , in order to determine whether to extend the termination date or not.
The weed species currently being managed in this pest district are; Canada
thistle, field bindweed and leafy spurge.

Control District #4 do hereby petition the Board of County Commissioners, as per
CRS 35-5-104(7) , requesting an extension of the termination date of the district
until December 31, 1996. This Pest District will expire on December 31, 1992.
The Board of County Commissioners now must hold a public hearing, as per CRS 35-
5-104(7) , in order to determine whether to extend the termination date or not.
The weed species currently being managed in this pest district are; Canada, Musk
and Bull thistle, field bindweed, Russian Knapweed and whitetop.
