RE: ELIMINATION OF INFORMATION SERVICES AGENCY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on August 3, 1983, the Board created the Information Services
Agency, which included the Computer Services and PBX Departments, and
WHEREAS, on October 25, 1993, Weld County contracted out computer services
to SCT Corporation, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration has recommended the
elimination of the Information Services Agency, and the transfer of the PBX
function to the supervision of the Director of General Services, effective
immediately.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Information Services Agency be, and hereby is,
eliminated.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the PBX function be, and hereby
is, placed under the supervision of the Director of General Services.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 6th day of December, A.D. , 1993.
