RE: APPROVE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE JACOB CENTER FOR ELECTRONIC HOME
MONITORING SERVICES AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Memorandum of Agreement
between Weld County, Colorado, and The Jacob Center, commencing May 18, 1993,
with the further terms and conditions being as stated in said agreement, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said
agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Memorandum of Agreement between Weld County, Colorado,
and The Jacob Center be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is,
authorized to sign said agreement.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 24th day of May, A.D. , 1993, nunc pro tunc
May 18, 1993.

MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
CI
This shall serve as an agreement between Weld County and The Jacob Center to
implement three additional Electronic Home Monitoring units for juveniles.
The Jacob Center agrees to:
• Provide equipment and case management services for three (3) units.
• Equipment and services shall be provided consistent with the current
Division of Youth Services contract.
• EHM services shall be provided effective immediately.
• Bill services through invoice to Weld County at the end of each month of
service.
Weld County agrees to:
• Provide for three EHM juvenile units as an alternative to closed detention
pursuant to established legal jurisdiction and procedure.
• Pay for three said units at a cost of $520.00 per month per unit; or
$1560.00 per month for the full program of three units, upon proper
invoice.
