RE: SETTING WELD COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE FEES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, has
the authority under State statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter to
establish certain fees for services provided by the various departments of Weld
County Government, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County desires, through
this Resolution, to set fees and charges for the Weld County Sheriff's Office for
case reports, record checks, immigration checks, and records inspection requests,
and
WHEREAS, the Sheriff has recommended the following fee schedule:
CASE REPORTS $5.00 per report (up to 25 pages)
$1.25 per page after 25 pages
No charge to victims
RECORDS CHECKS $5.00
IMMIGRATION CHECKS $5.00
RECORDS INSPECTION REQUESTS $5.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the fees for the above stated Sheriff's Office services
be, and hereby are, set as stated above effective immediately.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 11th day of September, A.D. , 1991.

Request for Change in Fees
RE
I am requesting a change in the fees charged by the Weld County Sheriff's Office for
case reports, records checks, immigration checks, and records inspection requests.
The change is being recommended to more accurately reflect the actual cost of
providing these services. The recommended changes are as follows:
CASE REPORTS $5.00 per report (up to 25 pages)
$1.25 per page after 25 pages
No charge to victims
RECORDS CHECKS $5.00
IMMIGRATION CHECKS $5.00
RECORDS INSPECTION REQUESTS $5.00
