RE: APPROVE FLEET MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT MODIFICATION WITH LEAR SIEGLER
MANAGEMENT SERVICES CORPORATION AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated September 19, 1990, the Board did approve an
agreement with Lear Siegler Management Services Corporation to provide
maintenance for the Weld County fleet of vehicles, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated November 4, 1991, the Board did approve
Amendment #1 to said agreement, extending the term to December 31, 1992, with
Lear Siegler Management Services Corporation, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Fleet Maintenance Agreement
Modification with Lear Siegler Management Services Corporation to renew and
extend said agreement to December 31, 1993, with the further terms and conditions
being as stated in said modification, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said
modification, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the modification be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is,
authorized to sign said modification.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 23rd day of December, A.D. , 1992.

FLEET MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT
MODIFICATION
Effective January 1, 1993, by mutual consent of the parties, the agreement made and
entered into on September 19, 1990, by and between Lear Siegler Management Services
Corp., referred to as CONTRACTOR, and Weld County, Colorado, referred to as
COUNTY, is hereby modified as follows:
TERM OF AGREEMENT
This agreement is renewed and extended through December 31, 1993.
CAPITAL EXPENDITURES
Capital expenditures shall be defined as those items which cost more than $2,000 and
which extend or improve the useful operation of the vehicle, equipment, or component for
two or more years. Any major repair which costs over $2,000 shall be charged and paid
over and above the total target cost if the vehicle or equipment is over the age, hours or
miles shown on the following guide:

TIRE REPLACEMENT
Tire replacement due to normal wear shall be charged to the target cost regardless of
the amount. Tire replacement required for reasons other than normal wear shall be charged
and paid over and above the total target cost.
TARGET COST
The total Target Cost for the year 1993 shall be nine hundred fifteen thousand seven
hundred thirty-nine dollars and seventy-six cents ($915,739.76).

The descriptive headings set forth herein are for ease of reference only and shall not
be considered in the interpretation of any of the provisions of this agreement.
All terms and conditions of the agreement made between the parties on the 19th day
of September, 1990 shall remain in full force and effect, except as modified herein.
