RESOLUTION TO SIGN AGREEMENT
WITH STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT
REGARDING PROJECT S 0039(3);
BE IT RESOTVED; by the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County,
Colorado, that they hereby approve a certain Agreement with The State Highway
Commission of Colorado, a public corporation, for the use and benefit of the
Department of Highways of the State of Colorado, dated May 27, 1953, whereby
Weld County has reviewed and approved the Geometric Standrds designated to
govern the construction of a Federal Aid Secondary Project to consist of
improvements on State Highway No, 52, extending between Hudson and Prospect
Valley, as per terms of said Agreement on behalf of Weld County by signatures
of the entire Board.

COOPERATIVE AGREEIENT
THIS AGREEMENT entered into this 2 19

THE STATE HIGHLY COMIISSION OF COLORADO, a public corporation, for the use and
benefit of the DEPARTiENT OF HIGH`JAYS of the STATE OF COLORADO, party of the second
part, WITFiESS TH that
WHEREAS, The Department has constructed, or proposes to construct, or provide
for the construction of, a project known as Project
approximately 1,109 miles ong, extending
between Eidson add Prosseet Yeller
Highway No, in the County, and • on State
WHEREAS, the said State Highway is part of the Federal Aid Secondary System,
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with the Federal Aid Act of 1950, the Parties
have jointly reviewed the Geometric Standards governing the type of construction for
said Project and have agreed as follows:
That the 19.2. Annual Average Traffic Volume, as determined from actual
vehicular count, by the Planning and Research Division of the Department is found to
be son vehicles per dayo Therefore, in accordance with approved and established
practices, the traffic volume twenty years hence is estimated to be 8Y≤ vehicles per
day. Consequently, the type of construction shall be that designated as Type gat
of the Geometric Standards dated August 1,1952, more fully described as follows:
The surface shall consist of Medium Bituminous , 22
feet wide on a roadway 30 feet wide. The maximum grade shall be
6 percent and the curvature shall not exceed 8 degrees and 10
minutes. The right of ways shall not be less than 8n feet in width.

have a design load of *40 . Those structures having a length less than
sixty (50) feet shall have a clear roadway width, between curbs or wheel guards, of
3e feet and those having a length of sixty (60) feet and over shall have a
clear roadway width of _ , feet.
This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the
Successors and assigns of the Parties thereto.
This Agreement is executed with reference to the signatories on behalf of
the County by virtue of a resolution passed at the meeting of the Board of County
Commissioners held on ,, ; , a certified copy of which is
attached hereto,
