RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO WELD COUNTY HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancy currently exist on the Weld County Human Resources
Committee, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Becky White, Weld Information and
Referral Service representative, Ruth Gartrell, citizen representative, John
Maestas, Veteran's representative, and Elizabeth Tipton, Head Start Parent Policy
Council representative, be appointed to said committee, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Becky White, with a term
to expire December 31, 1992, Ruth Gartrell and John Maestas, with terms to expire
December 31, 1994, and Elizabeth Tipton, with a term to expire December 31, 1993,
to said committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Becky White be, and hereby is, appointed to the Weld
County Human Resources Committee, with her term to expire December 31, 1992.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Ruth Gartrell and John Maestas be,
and hereby is, appointed to said committee, with their terms to expire December
31, 1994.
BE IT FUTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Elizabeth Tipton be, and hereby is,
apopinted to said committee, with her term to expire December 31, 1993.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 29th day of January, A.D. , 1992.
