RE: APPROVE MOBILE VOTER REGISTRATION FOR 1992 PRESIDENTIAL, PRIMARY, AND
GENERAL ELECTIONS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1-2-212, C.R.S. , the Chairmen of the major
political parties and the Weld County Clerk and Recorder have submitted a written
statement to the Board that branch registration is not necessary in Weld County
for the 1992 Presidential, Primary, and General Elections, and
WHEREAS, said statement further recommends that, pursuant to Section 1-2-
212.2 C.R.S. , mobile voter registration be available for the 1992 Presidential,
Primary, and General Elections, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Clerk and Recorder has recommended that mobile
voter registration be conducted July 11 through July 20, 1992, and October 3
through October 12, 1992, and
WHEREAS, after study and review, the Board deems it advisable to approve
the written statement concerning branch registration and mobile voter
registration for the 1992 Presidential, Primary, and General Elections.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that branch registration is not necessary in Weld County for
the 1992 Presidential, Primary, and General Elections.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that mobile voter registration for the
1992 Presidential, Primary, and General Elections shall be conducted July 11
through July 20, 1992, and October 3 through October 12, 1992.
