RE: RECOMMENDATION CONCERNING REQUEST FOR INSTALLATION OF
CULVERTS AND/OR BORROW PITS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board did, by Resolution dated September 6 ,
1989 , refer to the Engineering Department a request from the
Miller family for the installation of culverts and/or borrow pits
on a portion of Weld County Road 54 , and
WHEREAS, on September 19 , 1989 , the Miller family was advised
that the installation of access culverts are the responsibility of
the property owner; therefore , the request for said installation
is denied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of the
Miller family for installation of culverts and/or borrow pits be,
and hereby is, denied.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 2nd day of
July, A.D. , 1990 .

:;CTION TAKEN: I met with Mr. Miller and told him the access culverts are
the property owner's responsibility to install. When they are ready+
to install the culverts, the County would—open the-bar pit. -

RE: APPROVE BOARD ACTION CONCERNING REQUEST FOR CULVERTS AND/OR
BORROW PITS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from the Miller
family for the installation of culverts and/or borrow pits on a
portion of Weld County Road 54, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to refer said request
to the Engineering Department for its recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of the
Miller family for the installation of culverts and/or borrow pits
on a portion of Weld County Road 54 be, and hereby is, referred to
the Engineering Department for its recommendation.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 6th day of
September, A.D. , 1989.
