CASE NUMBER: USR-1032 APPLICANT: Basin Operating REQUEST: A Site Specific Development Plan and a Special Review permit for two water injection wells in the A (Agricultural) zone district. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Part of Section 3, T1N, R68W of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado. LOCATION: Approximately 1/2 mile south of State Highway 52; 1/2 mile west of Interstate 25. Steve Schmitz, Operations Engineer, Basin Operating, gave an overhead presentation of the proposal. This facility is used to handle water from oil and gas wells. The wells are what is known as "marginal wells" that produced alot of water along with oil/gas. The existing battery has a pipeline system in existence. There will be eight trucks daily pumping into the existing battery. Judy Yamaguchi asked about the building on-site. Steve said the building is the field office also known as "the doghouse". Steve was concerned about the Weld County Health Department requirements (Development Standards #3 and 14) for water and sewer. Jeff Stoll explained these are standard requirements. Bottled water on-site would be considered a potable water source, and a "vault" system would suffice for sewer requirements. Hello
