RE: APPROVE SPECIAL PROJECTS PART-TIME AGREEMENT BETWEEN AMBULANCE SERVICE AND
AIMS COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Special Projects Part-Time
Agreement between the Weld County Ambulance Service and Aims Community College,
commencing upon execution of said agreement, and ending June 30, 1993, with the
further terms and conditions being as stated in said agreement, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said
agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Special Projects Part-Time Agreement between the Weld
County Ambulance Service and Aims Community College be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is,
authorized to sign said agreement.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 21th day of October, A.D. , 1992.

I, Weld County Ambulance Service do hereby agree to perform the following task to satisfy the Dean or
Assoc. Dean of Occupational Education by or before June 30. 1993 .
Task to be Performed (Include Course Title, Number, Div./Dept., if applicable):
Weld County Ambulance will:
Provide coordination, instruction, facilities, supplies and equipment for a medical
review class for WCAS employees. Participants must register for one credit each quarter.
Attendance of 75% of students will be required with the number of hours attended and
topics covered being recorded for each student and turned in to the Emergency Medical
Services Office quarterly. This Agreement will be renegotiated when Aims expenses reach
$1,000.
The sessions must be made available to personnel of all volunteer fire departments and
will be listed on the master CME schedule which is sent to all fire departments with
instructions to call Weld County Ambulance Service for meeting times. The volunteer fire
students will register under their own fire departments and are not eligible for reim-
bursement funds under this contract. Aims will provide tuition grants. WCAS will provide
Certificate of Worker's Compensation Insurance with signed agreement.
CHECK ONLY ONE: I have my own Workers' Compensation Insurance Add me to the Aims Workers' Compensation
and will provide a Certificate of Insurance. Insurance Policy
Community College will, upon satisfactory completion of the task to be performed, pay the sum of s 8/Student Credit

This Section is for Noncredit Workshops/Seminars Only
Should there be any funds remaining after any prior agreed expenses have been deducted, a charge to the presenter(s)
shall be assessed by the College in an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of those remaining funds as payment for the
use of College space or College equipment or College personnel or combination thereof. Furthermore, should expenses
exceed the prior agreed amount, the presenter(s) will be responsible for those payments in addition to this assessment.
All signatories agree that this is an agreement for services and that this agreement for services does not constitute a
partnership agreement.
Aims Community College and presenter(s) agree to the following as conditions for the noncredit workshop/seminars:
