RE: APPROVE ACCEPTANCE OF LETTER OF CREDIT - MOUNT CALVARY LUTHERAN CHURCH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Mount Calvary Lutheran Church is the holder of a Special Review
Permit, approved October 31, 1990, and
WHEREAS, Condition of Approval #6 requires sufficient performance guarantee
to ensure installation and completion of the grading and drainage, landscaping,
and screening of said property and that said performance guarantee be approved
by the Board of County Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, Irrevocable Letter of Credit 1156, has been received from the First
Security Bank of Fort Lupton in the amount of $3,260.00 to meet said requirement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Irrevocable Letter of Credit 1156 from the First Security
Bank of Fort Lupton, submitted by Mount Calvary Lutheran Church be, and hereby
is, accepted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following ote on the 3rd day of June, A.D. , 1991.

We hereby issue and establish in your favor our irrevocable letter of credit
number 56 by the order and on the account of the Mount Calvary Lutheran
Church of Fort Lupton. This letter is for a sum of sums not to exceed .
three thousand two hundred sixty dollars ($3,260.00) current lawful money
of the United States of America. Available by your sight draft or drafts
drawn on us accompanied by:
(a) All drafts so drawn must be marked "Drawn Under Our
Letter of Credit Number 56."
(b) This irrevocable Letter of Credit has an expiration
date of December 31 , 1991. This credit is subject to
the "Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary
Credits (1973 Rev. ) , International Chamber of Commerce
Publication Number 400. .

Dear Lanell:
As you requested during our telephone conversation this morning, this letter
seeks a ruling from your department of the permissibility of parking recrea-
tional vehicles on our church property during our expansion construction next
spring. We are contemplating the use of an organization with our church body
called "Laborers for Christ. " The Laborers organization consists of retired
individuals who travel about our denomination's churches doing construction
work at reduced prices. Typically the workers bring their own recreational
vehicles to the site and live in them during the construction period (antici-
pated to be two to three months). If you need more information on the Labor-
ers organization, you may contact Mr. Clayton Melby, P.Q. Box 22, Cortez, CO
81321 (1-800-553-5462).
Also, as you requested, please find a copy of the late well registration is-
sued to the church. I enclose, as well, a copy of a letter of acceptance into
the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District and a copy of the water de-
cree issued to the church.
Regarding an extension of the letter of credit for the landscaping work, I was
assured by the bank representative that this is a formality from their per-
spective and can be supplied as you direct.
I await your reply on the question of the Laborers' vehicles.
