BOX 758 GREELEY,COLORADO 80632 O COLORADO e April 23, 1990 James A. Curtis 39251 Weld County Road 100 Briggsdale, CO 80611 RE: Plowing Permit Pursuant to Weld County Ordinance 108-A Dear Mr. Curtis: This letter is in response to your letter dated April 10, 1990, and requesting a decision regarding a plowing permit, pursuant to Weld County Ordinance 108-A. The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, denies your request for an exemption from the collateral requirements of Weld County Ordinance 108-A. Although the Board understands that your intention for the property is to reestablish the grassland with a more productive grass, the procedure will still require the plowing of existing grassland. It will therefore come within the provisions of Weld County Ordinance 108-A, which requires a permit and collateral for any such activity. The Board does not believe that it may exempt your operation from the collateral requirements. If you should have any questions regarding this letter or regarding your application for a plowing permit, please contact Bruce T. Barker, Assistant Weld County Attorney, at 356-4000, Ext. 4391. Sincerely, BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WE COUNTY, COLORADO Gene R. Brautner, Chairman TB:GRB:rm xc: Bruce T. Barker, Asst.
