RESOLUTION TO SIGN AGREEMENT
WITH STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT
REGARDING PROJECT S 0024(12) :
BE IT RESOLVED; by the Board of County Commissioners, Weld
County, Colorado, that they hereby approve a certain Agreement with
the State Highway Commission of Colorado, a public corporation, for
the use and benefit of the Department of Highways of the State of
Colorado, dated December 7, 1955, whereby Weld County has reviewed
and approved the Geometric Standards designated to govern the
construction of a Federal Aid Secondary Project to consist of
improvements on State Highway No. 14, extending from Ault-East
approximately 10 miles, as per terms of said Agreement on behalf
of Weld County by signatures of the Boa .

THIS AGRLEIENT entered into this 7th day of DECEMBER 19 ,
by and between the County of Weld ' arty of the first part, and

WHEREAS, The Department has constructed, or proposes to construct, or provide
for the construction of, a project known as Project 8 004(12)
approximately 3.42 miles long, . 4.. .w . . .16 located

WHEREAS, the said State Highway is part of the Federal Aid Secondary System,
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with the Federal Aid Act of 1950, the Parties
have jointly reviewed the Geometric Standards governing the type of construction for
said Project and have agreed as follows:
That the 19Jk Annual Average Traffic Volume, as determined from actual
vehicular count, by the Planning and Research Division of the Department is found to
be S00 vehicles per day. Therefore, in accordance with approved and established
practices, the traffic volume twenty years hence is estimated to be 830 vehicles per
day. Consequently, the type of construction shall be that designated as Type D
of the Geometric Standards dated August 1, 1952, more fully described as follows:
The surface shall consist of Mediva Bituminous (Road P ts) 22
feet wide on a roadway 30 V feet wide. The maximum grade shall be
6.0 percent and the curvature shall not exceed 2 degrees and 00
minutes. The right of ways shall not be less than — feet in widths

have a design load of . Those structures having a length less than
sixty (60) feet shall have a clear roadway width, between curbs or wheel guards, of
feet and those hang a length of sixty (60) feet and. over shall have a
clear roadway width of feet.
This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the
Successors and assigns of the Parties thereto.
This Agreement is executed with reference to the signatories on behalf of
the County by virtue of a resolution passed at the meeting of the Board of County
Commissioners held on WEDNESDAY, DEER 7, 195; a certified copy of which is
attached hereto.
