SUBJECT: WASHINGTON SCHOOL PROPERTY, 520 13TH AVENUE, GREELEY
Mr. Warden:
Please advise the Weld County Board of Commissioners that the Greeley Urban
Renewal Authority has completed negotiations on the development of a
residential complex in the old Washington School (Headstart) Building.
In that regard, the Authority is now in position to accept the property
and begin construction.
Eight two-bedroom units will be constructed in the old building, and 16
new units will be built to the east on the site, with a nice courtyard
connecting the two elements.
The Greeley Urban Renewal Authority is confident that the Weld County
Commissioners will be delighted with the development. The Authority
appreciates the confidence that Weld County extended by awarding the
building to GURA.
Thank you very much for your help in providing this needed housing for
low and moderate income families.
Si cerely,
Frank J. Paquette
