RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF ONE "SPEED LIMIT 25 MPH" SIGN WITH ADDITIONAL "ALL
STREETS WITHIN SUBDIVISION" SIGN AT MAIN ENTRANCE OF INDIAN HEAD ESTATES
SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineering Department has recommended to the
Board that one "Speed Limit 25 MPH" sign with additional "All Streets Within
Subdivision" sign at the entrance of Indian Head Estates Subdivision, to insure
safety to the traveling public, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that said traffic devices are necessary
for the protection of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Department of Engineering be, and hereby is, directed
to install one "Speed Limit 25 MPH" sign with additional "All Streets Within
Subdivision" sign at the entrance of Indian Head Estates Subdivision, for the
safety of the general public, and that said signs must conform to the State
manual and specifications.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 6th day of May, A.D. , 1991.

ACTION TAKEN: I talked to Mr. Dougherty and told him that I would look at the situation
and then make my recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners.
5/2/91: Traffic study has been completed — See attached recommendation for one 25 MPH
speed limit sign along with additional "All Streets Within Subdivision" sign at the entrance
of the subdivision.
