RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF SHERRY BURNETT AND REAPPOINTMENT OF DEEANN GROVES
TO BOARD OF PUBLIC HEALTH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Board of Public Health, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Sherry Burnett be appointed to
replace Ernestine Koenig as the District 1 representative, with a term to expire
May 23, 1995, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that DeeAnn Groves be reappointed as an
at-large representative, with a term to expire May 23, 1995, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Sherry Burnett and to
reappoint DeeAnn Groves to said board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Sherry Burnett be, and hereby is, appointed as the
District 1 representative to the Board of Public Health, with her term to expire
May 23, 1995.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that DeeAnn Groves be, and hereby is,
reappointed as an at-large representative to the Board of Public Health, with a
term to expire May 23, 1995.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 18th day of May, A.D. , 1992.
