Home My WebLink About910628.tiff RESOLUTION RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING ABATEMENT OF DANGEROUS BUILDING - KUREK WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Department of Planning Services informed the Board that John M. Kurek has a building on his property which is considered to be dangerous to persons under the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, and WHEREAS, said property is described as Lot 5, Block 14, Aristocrat Ranchettes Subdivision, Weld County, Colorado, located at 7752 Hart Street, Fort Lupton, Colorado, and WHEREAS, at the meeting of July 22, 1991, the Department of Planning Services recommended that the Board authorize the removal of the dangerous building and authorize the Purchasing Department to seek bids for the removal of said building, and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to authorize the clean up and removal of the debris; seek bids for said cleanup and consider recovering the cost of said work, at which time an itemized account of the expenses incurred will be submitted by the Planning staff. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the cleanup and removal of debris from the hereinabove described property be, and hereby is, approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Purchasing Department be, and hereby is, authorized to seek bids from a private contractor for the cleanup and removal of said debris.
