RE: RECOMMENDATION CONCERNING PETITION TO RE-ROUTE TRUCK TRAFFIC
AND INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES ON CERTAIN
PORTION OF WELD COUNTY ROAD 16 . 5
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board did, by Resolution dated October 23 , 1989 ,
refer a petition to the Road and Bridge Department to re-route
truck traffic and install traffic control devices on Weld County
Road 16 . 5 between Weld County Roads 1 and 3 , and
WHEREAS, after inspection by the Road and Bridge Department,
said truck traffic was re-routed to Weld County Road 3 , south of
Weld County 16. 5; therefore, the requested traffic control devices
are not necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that no further action is
necessary concerning the petition for the re-routing of truck
traffic, nor on the requested traffic control devices, on the
hereinabove mentioned portion of Weld County Road 16 . 5 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 2nd day of
July, A.D. , 1990 .

RESOLUTION
RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING REQUEST FOR TRAFFIC CONTROL
DEVICES ON WELD COUNTY ROAD 16}
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County', Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from the residents
on Weld County Road 16} between Weld County Roads 1 and 3 for the
installation of traffic control devices , and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to refer said request
to the Engineering Department for its recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of the
residents on Weld County Road 16} between Weld County Roads 1 and
3 be, and hereby is, referred to the Engineering Department for
its recommendation.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted' by the following vote on the 23rd day of
October, A.D. , 1989 .
