RE: DISMISS REQUEST FROM PARKER AND PARSLEY FOR EXTENSION OF OIL AND GAS LEASE
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED IN SEt S22, T5N, R61W
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated October 2, 1991, the Board approved an Oil and
Gas Lease with Parker and Parsley Development Company for 160 net mineral acres,
more or less, described to-wit:
SEt of Section 22, Township 5 North, Range 61 West of
the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, on September 28, 1994, the County Attorney's Office received a
telephone call from a representative for Parker and Parsley requesting an
extension of said Oil and Gas Lease, which expires on October 2, 1994, and
WHEREAS, on October 3, 1994, the County Attorney advised the Board that
Parker and Parsley had not provided any documentation for said request;
therefore, he recommended said request be dismissed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned request from Parker and Parsley for an
extension of the Oil and Gas Lease on the abovementioned property be, and hereby
is, dismissed.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 3rd day of October, A.D. , 1994.
