HomeMy WebLinkAbout921172.tiff RESOLUTION RE: DECLARE CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS AS SURPLUS PROPERTY, APPROVE QUIT CLAIM DEED, AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN - REED WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Administrative Manual require that all items disposed of be declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Quit Claim Deed between Sam D. Reed, dba Reed Oil, and Weld County, and WHEREAS, the County has determined that certain property, described as improvements at 320 N. 1st Street, LaSalle, Colorado, being more fully described in said deed, is no longer required for County use, and WHEREAS, Board has been presented with a request to sell said improvements for and in consideration of the sum of $7,000, and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to declare said improvements as surplus and approve said deed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that said described improvements be, and hereby are, declared as surplus. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Quit Claim Deed between Sam D. Reed, dba Reed Oil, and Weld County for the sum of $7,000 be, and hereby is, approved.
