RE: GRANT MOBILE HOME PERMIT NO. 1758 - CHARLES REDIN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, on the
4th day of September, 1991, considered the request of Charles Redin for a mobile
home to be used as a principal dwelling, and
WHEREAS, said mobile home is to be occupied in an A (Agricultural) Zone
District on a parcel of land being more particularly described as follows:
Lots 6, 7, and 8, Block 2, East Side Addition to the
Town of Eaton, Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, having heard the testimony,
finds that said request should be granted subject to the following conditions:
1) The applicant shall obtain a building permit for the mobile home prior to
locating the mobile home on the property; 2) A septic permit shall be obtained
from the Weld County Health Department prior to the issuance of a building
permit; 3) Prior to the issuance of a building permit, the owner shall submit
evidence that East Eaton Water District is supplying water in such a manner as
to be adequate in quality, quantity and dependability for the proposed use; and
4) The mobile home shall not be occupied until such time that the applicant has
complied with the above mentioned conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the request of Charles Redin for permission to place a
mobile home to be used as a principal dwelling on the above described parcel of
land, which was found to be in compliance with Section 43 of the Weld County
Zoning Ordinance, be, and hereby is, granted subject to the hereinabove listed
conditions.

The Department of Planning Services staff has reviewed this request and
recommends that the request be approved for the following reasons:

COMMENTS:
The Department of Planning Services' staff recommendation for approval is
conditional upon the following:
1. The applicant obtaining a building permit for the mobile home prior to
locating the mobile home on the property.
2. A septic permit shall be obtained from the Weld County Health Department
prior to the issuance of a building permit.
3. Prior to the issuance of a building permit, the owner shall submit evidence
that is supplying water in such a manner as to be adequate in quality,
quantity, and dependability for the proposed use.
4. The mobile home shall not be occupied until such time that the applicant

Dear Mr. Redin:
In response to a complaint, your property located at 365 Linden Street, Eaton,
Colorado was investigated on April 5, 1990, by Chris Mondak of this department.
The inspection revealed that the house at this address has only a chemical toilet
for sewage disposal.
Please be advised that the above described situation is in violation of Weld
County Individual Sewage Disposal System. Regulations, as.!-follows in part:.
Sec 3.1 "General Sanitation Requirements: The owner of any structure
where people live, work, or congregate shall insure that the
structure contains an adequate, convenient, sanitary toilet
and sewage disposal system in good working order. Under no
condition shall sewage or effluent be permitted to be
discharged upon the surface of the ground, :. ."
Also be further advised that:
Colorado Revised Statute Section 25-1-613 provides the following:
"The Board of Health shall examine all nuisances, sources of filth, and
causes of sickness, which, in its opinion, may be injurious to the health
of the inhabitants, within its own town, city or county. . . , and it shall
destroy, remove, or prevent the same as the case may require.
Be advised that you have five (5) days from receipt of this notice to correct
the aforementioned violation(s) . Failure to respond will result in further
legal action by this department.

Dear Mr. Redin:
Your mobile home zoning permit application is complete and in order and will be
processed by our office on or before September 4, 1991. If it is determined that
the application meets the approval criteria of Section 43 of the Weld County
Zoning Ordinance and you have submitted a petition with the signatures of at
least 70% of the surrounding property owners who have no objection to your
request, you will be notified that the zoning permit is approved. If the staff
determines that the application does not meet the approval criteria, you will be
notified and asked to appear before the Board of County Commissioners at a public
hearing. You will be informed of the hearing date at least a week prior to the
hearing. The Board of County Commissioners will then consider your application
and make a final decision on the zoning permit for the mobile home.

BRIAN GRUBB:
On August 1,1991, Paul Pryor, rehab specialist for WELD COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY
met with the board of EAST EATON WATER DISTRICT and requested a water tap for
Charles Redine at 365 Linden. The board agreed to a tap for $1700.00 plus cost
to bring the supply to property line. Cost of bringing the line to the property
line and setting the meter and curb and going 20 feet inside the property line
is $1400.00 for a total construction cost of $3100.00.
