RE: GRANT REQUEST FROM NELSON ENGINEERS ON BEHALF OF JACK E. AND MARJORIE J.
EDSON FOR SCHEDULING OF CHANGE OF ZONE HEARING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from Nelson Engineers on behalf
of Jack E. and Marjorie J. Edson to schedule a hearing to consider an application
for a Change of Zone from A (Agricultural) to P.U.D. (I-1 and C-3 uses) , and
WHEREAS, said property being located in part of the NW* NW,' of Section 10,
Township 2 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, after study and review the Board deems it advisable to grant said
request, with the hearing date to be set as June 1, 1992, at or about the hour
of 9:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the request from Nelson Engineers on behalf of Jack E. and
Marjorie J. Edson to schedule a hearing to consider an application for a Change
of Zone from A (Agricultural) to P.U.D. (I-1 and C-3 uses) be, and hereby is,
granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the hearing date to consider said
request be, and hereby is, set as June 1, 1992, at or about the hour of 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 27th day of April, A.D. , 1992.

Dear Commissioners :
On behalf of the Mr. and Mrs . Edson, I hereby request that
the Board of County Commissioners ' hearing for the subject re-
zoning be scheduled as early as possible and preferably on June
1, 1992. The Edsons are ready and anxious to proceed to the
final plan stage, but first they need your approval.
To date there have been no objectors to the rezoning request.
Planning Staff has recommended the change of zone and the Planning
Commission has unanimously approved the recommendation.
I look forward to approval of this request. If you have
