RE: APPROVE CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT FOR HUD SECTION 8 AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Consolidated Annual
Contributions Contract for HUD Section 8 with the Weld County Housing Authority,
with the terms and conditions being as stated in said contract, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said
contract, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, ex-officio Housing Authority Board, that the Consolidated
Annual Contributions Contract for HUD Section 8 with the Weld County Housing
Authority be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is,
authorized to sign said contract.
The 'above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 5th day of May, A.D. , 1993.

DATE: April 29, 1993
Attached for Board consideration is the Section 8 consolidated Annual
Contribution Contract (ACC) covering Project C099-V090-001 through 013.
This Annual Contributions Contract deletes the Contract Authority of Project
005 and replaces the authority with Project 013. The Board recently acted
upon this replacement allocation through it's approval of the revised
Estimates of Required Annual Contribution on April 26th. Project 005 is set
to expire on May 25, 1993. The total annual contract authority for the
Section 8 Voucher program is $916,690. Terms of the specific projects are
for a five year period.
The Annual Contributions Contract, in addition to providing the Contract
Authority, also outlines the responsibilities to the Housing Authority in the
administration of our Section 8 Voucher program.
Staff is recommending your approval of the Annual Contributions Contract for
the Section 8 Voucher program.
