Home My WebLink About911400.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF "STOP" AND "STOP AHEAD" SIGNS - WELD COUNTY ROADS 115 AND 131 AT WELD COUNTY ROAD 80 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineering Department has recommended to the Board that "Stop" signs be installed on Weld County Road 115 coming onto Weld County Road 80, to insure safety to the traveling public, and WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineering Department has recommended to the Board that "Stop" and "Stop Ahead" signs be installed on Weld County Road 131 coming onto Weld County Road 80, to insure safety to the traveling public, and WHEREAS, the Board has determined that said traffic devices are necessary for the protection of the general public. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Department of Engineering be, and hereby is, directed to install "Stop" signs on Weld County Road 115 coming onto Weld County Road 80, for the safety of the general public, and that said signs must conform to the State manual and specifications. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Department of Engineering be, and hereby is, directed to install "Stop" and "Stop Ahead" signs on Weld County Road 131 coming onto Weld County Road 80, for the safety of the general public, and that said signs must conform to the State manual and specifications.
