Thank you for sending to the Colorado Department of Local Affairs your request for $2 million
in low and moderate income bond funding. We are pleased to report that the allocation
committee has approved $15 million in state-wide balance allocations to "non-entitlement," or
rural counties.
Lewis, de Rozario & Co. will be analyzing the State's allocation and related conditions within
the next two weeks and will be in touch with you soon thereafter to review how this lending
program should work with Boulder County. We also will begin work this fall on expanding this
rural housing program for early 1995.
Your interest and support is appreciated and we look forward to presenting a workable lending
program for low and moderate income families in your county.
