RE: RECOMMENDATION CONCERNING REQUEST FOR STOP SIGN WARNING
GROOVES AT SOUTH END OF SEELEY LAKE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board did, by Resolution dated February 12 ,
1990 , refer a request from Jonathan Kepler to the Road and Bridge
Department for the installation of stop sign warning grooves at
the south end of Seeley Lake, and
WHEREAS, after inspection, it was determined by the Road and
Bridge Department that stop sign warning grooves could not be
installed, but the signing at this intersection would be improved
with barricades, and
WHEREAS, said work has been completed, and no further action
is necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that no further action is
necessary concerning the hereinabove mentioned request from
Jonathan Kepler.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 2nd day of
July, A.D. , 1990 .

RE: 2/3/90 Letter to Weld County Commissioners
Dear Mr. Kepler:
The following has been done to correct the concerns you raised in your
letter to the Weld County Commissioners regarding the "T" intersection of
WCR 39 and WCR 74 at Seeley Lake:
Instead of installing stop sign warning groves in the road, we will take
down the existing double arrow signs and put up regular barricades. These
barricades should be more visible than the signs.
If you have further concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the Road &
Bridge Department.

RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING REQUEST FOR STOP SIGN WARNING
GROOVES AT SOUTH END OF SEELEY LAKE
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter , is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Board has received a request from Jonathan
Kepler for the installation of stop sign warning grooves at the
south end of Seeley Lake, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to refer said request
to the Engineering Department for its recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of
Jonathan Kepler for the installation of stop sign warning grooves
at the south end of Seeley Lake be, and hereby is, referred to the
Engineering Department for its recommendation.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on moticn duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote en the 12th day of
February, A.D. , 1990 .
