You are hereby instructed to as follows:

Observe changes in plans
You are hereby instructed to furnish material and perform the following work on
Project S 0030(3), Hudson-Prospect Valley, Colorado.
Due to the land owner, left of Station 3L:6+, requirinn water on his land it was found
necessary to install a 18" Siphon under the road at Station 3115 in order to raise the water
high enough so his land could be irrigated. The 18"x70' CM' and the Concrete Drop Inlet
at Station 346* are to he deleted from Plans. The following is the estimated cost of
this work order:
76 Lin. Ft. of 18" C.M.P. Siphon Pipe @ ?:6.54 per lin. ft. 497.04
Two (2) Metal Aprons for 18" Siphon 3 th5.30 per each 90.60
One (1) Trash Guard for inlet end of 18" Siphon G $48.10 per each 48.10
Cost of Siphon 635.74
Delete from Plans the following:
20 .00
Two (2) Cu. Yds. Class "B" Concrete C $100.00 per cu. yd. 200.00
18"x70' G.M.P. Cross Culvert U $3.50 per lin. ft. Total deletion 245.00
Total estimated increase contract prices 190.74
All work is to he one in accordance with the Colorado Department of Highway' s
1952 Specifications.
For bid price of ??6.54 for 18" Siphon Pipe see attached itemized detail costs, also
see attached sketch of siphon required.
