RE: AUTHORIZING USE OF SIGNATURE PLATES OF GORDON E. LACY, CHAIRMAN OF THE
BOARD FOR 1991, TO SIGN WELD COUNTY WARRANTS PENDING RECEIPT OF SIGNATURE
PLATES OF GEORGE KENNEDY, CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD FOR 1992
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on January 6, 1992, George Kennedy was elected Chairman of the
Board of County Commissioners, for the year 1992, and
WHEREAS, signature plates for George Kennedy are necessary for the
signature on warrants issued by Weld County, pursuant to the provisions of
Section 30-25-110, CRS, as amended, and
WHEREAS, a signature plate for this purpose has not been received by the
Clerk to the Board's Office, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it in the best interest of Weld County to
authorize the use of Gordon E. Lacy's signature plates until receipt of George
Kennedy's signature plates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the signature plates of Gordon E. Lacy, Chairman of the
Board for 1991, shall be used to sign all Weld County Warrants until receipt of
the signature plates of George Kennedy, Chairman of the Board of County
Commissioners for 1992.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote
vote on the 6th day of January, A.D. , 1992.
