VACATING PORTION OF OLD COUNTY ROAD
LYING WITHIN LOT 24, BLOCK 33,
TOWN OF KEENESBURG:
WHEREAS, a portion of an old County Road located within the Northwest
Quarter (NWk) of Section 26, Township 2 North, Range 64 West of the 6th P. M. ,
and contained in Lot 24, Block 33, Town of Keenesburg and described as follows:
Beginning at a point which is the Southeast corner of the North-
west Quarter of Section 26, Township 2 North, Range 64 West; thence
northerly on the half section line for a distance of 462 feet;
thence S 66°41' W on center line of highway for a distance of
853.1 feet; thence northerly on east block line of Block 33 for a
distance of 31.4 feet to point of beginning which is the Southeast
corner of Lot 24, Block 33; thence westerly on south line of Lot 24
for a distance of 25.1 feet; thence N 66°41' E for a distance of
53.5 feet; thence southerly on block line for a distance of 23.1
feet to point of beginning, containing 0.02 acres, more or less,
and
WHEREAS, it appears that the necessities of the public no longer
require said County Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, that it does hereby sign a Quitclaim Deed, thereby
vacating and abandoning that portion of the aforementioned County Road.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote:

THIS C UIT CLAIM DEED Made by the COUNTY OF WELD, and STATE OF COLO-
RADO, acting through the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Weld, State
of Colorado, GRANTOR, and the Present Owners of the lands lying on both sides of the
hereinafter described property, Grantee, WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, under date of August 7, 1933, Robert A. McBride did convey to the
County of Weld and State of Colorado:
All that strip or parcel of ground lying within the boundaries of the
Northwest Cuarter Section Twenty-six (NW•126), Township Two(2)
North, Range Sixty-four (64) West of the 6th P. M. , and contained in
Block 33, Town of Keenesburg and described as follows: Commencing
at a point which is the Southeast corner of the Northwest Cuarter
Section 26, Township 2 North,, Range 84 West; thence northerly on
the half section line for a distance of 482 feet; thence S 66041'W on
center line of highway for a distance of 853. 1 feet to point of begin-
ning which is Station 1504 + 67. 1 on said center line; thence southerly
on east block line of Block 33 for a distance of 18. 6 feet; thence wes-
terly on south line of Lot 22 for a distance of 142 feet to west Block
line; thence northerly on said block line for a distance of 17. 1 feet;
thence on a 5°curve whose tangent bears N 66041'E for a distance of
190. 1 feet; thence N 66°41'E for a distance of 19. 1 feet; thence eas-
terly on south line of Lot 23 for a distance of 25. 1 feet to east block
line of Block 33; thence southerly on said block line for a distance of
31. 4 feet to point of beginning, containing 0. 17 acres, more or less,
which deed was recorded September 19, 1933, in Book 950, Page 474, of the Office of
the County Clerk and Recorder, Weld County, Colorado, and,
WHEREAS, said parcel of land was conveyed for road purposes and said road, if it
was ever constructed, bas long since been disused and Weld County has not been main-
taining a road in said lo4ation, and,
WHEREAS, there id,Da public need for said property to be held by Weld County.
NOW, THEREFORE,` in consideration of the premises, Grantor does hereby sell and
quitclaim to Grantee all Of Grantor's right, title, claim, interest and demand in and to
the parcel of land heretofore conveyed to the Grantor and recorded in Book 950. Page
474, Weld County Records, with all its appurtenances.

WEST OF THE 6th P.M. WELD COUNTY, COLORADO.

ri WHEREAS, a petition has been presented to the Board of
• � County Commissioners , Weld County, Colorado, asking that a portion
of a County Road be abandonded and vacated, said portion of County
Road being located adjacent to property wholly owned by the

e aforementioned petitioners , and said portion of road being more
particularly described as follows, to-wit:
That portion of County Road, lying west of the North

o 4 corner of Section 26, Township 2 North, Range 64
o West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, starting
at the County Road No . 717-A and running South
approximately 447.2 feet and dead-ending at the right
of way line of the State Highway No. 6 and Interstate
N 80 S. , and

i .. WHEREAS, no objections to said petition for the abandonment
of said portion of County Road have been received in the office
of the Board of County Commissioners , Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the necessities of the public no
longer require said portion of road, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County,
Colorado, believes it to be in the best interest of the public
and Weld County to approve said petition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, Weld County, Colorado, that the aforementioned
portion of County Road be , and it is hereby declared abandoned,
vacated, and closed in accordance with the submitted petition.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly

QUIT CLAIM DEED

in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred

first part, and Weld County
of the County of Weld , and the State of Colorado, of the
second part; WITNESSETH, That the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of
the sum of
One Dollar and other valuable considerations Dollars,
to the said parties of the first part in hand paid by the said party of the second part, the re-
ceipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged, has remised, released, sold, conveyed and
QUIT CLAIMED, and by these present do remise, release, sell, convey and QUIT CLAIM
unto the said party of the second part,their heirs and assigns forever, all the right, title, interest,
claim and demand which the said part es of the first part hare in and to the following described
real estate situate, lying and being in the County of WELD and State of Colorado, to-wit:
A strip of land located in the lsTt71: Section 26, Township 2 North, Range 64 West
of the 6th Principal Meridian described as foolowe, to-wit:
The East 60 feet of said NYllj running from the North line of said NW4s South to
its intersection with the South line of North 1st Avenue, as platted in Reenes-
burg Heights, extended easterly to the East line of said NW$:. Also a strip of
land located in said NW* of said Section 26, 40 feet in width, being the
extension Easterly of North 1st Avenue as platted in Keenesburg Heights, Weld
County, Colorado, from the East line of said Beeneaburg Heights to the East line
of the NW4 of said Section 26.
To Have and To Hold the same, together with all and singular the appurtenances and priv-
ileges thereunto belonging or in anywise thereunto appertaining, and all the estate, right, title, in-
terest and claim whatsoever, of the said part ies of the first part, either in law or equity, to the only
proper use, benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part,theirheirs and assigns forever.
