RE: AUTHORIZE WELD COUNTY TREASURER TO ESTABLISH UPPER FRONT RANGE
TRANSPORTATION PLANNING COUNCIL TRUST FUND
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, as a result of the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency
Act (ISTEA) , funds will be received for regional transportation planning
purposes, and
WHEREAS, the Upper Front Range Transportation Planning Council has been
created to fulfill the necessary transportation planning function for Weld,
Morgan, and Larimer Counties, and
WHEREAS, money received to fund the above effort must be accounted for via
a trust fund, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to establish said fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Weld County Treasurer be, and hereby is, authorized
to establish the Upper Front Range Transportation Planning Council Trust Fund,
Fund 94.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
