RE: USR Application of Glen Womack/
Permian Tank
Case No. USR 1037
Dear Ms. Kirkmeyer:
Our office represents Mr. Glen Womack, the applicant in the
above USR application. Mr. Womack is the owner of Permian Tank,
the tank manufacturing which has applied for a USR to conduct light
manufacturing on his property he owns here in Weld County. Mr.
Curtis Pittman is the manager of the company, and he has contacted
me and requested that I contact you to seek permission to store
equipment on the property pending the hearing before the Board of
County Commissioners for approval of the USR. Mr. Womack and Mr.
Pittman are aware that they would proceed at their own risk, and
that there is no assurance that the Board of County Commissioners
will approve the request. Mr. Pittman has assured me no
construction will take place and they simply need to store
equipment on the property at this time. This request is necessary
due to the fact their lease is due to expire on the property they
are currently leasing, at the end of February. There will not be
sufficient time subsequent to the hearing on February 9th to move
all of the equipment to the new location in the event that the
Board of County Commissioners approves the application.
I am, therefore, requesting on behalf of Mr. Curtis Pittman
and Mr. Glen Womack, for permission to store the equipment on the
property at their own risk, subject to removal, pending the hearing
on the application for USR. In the event there are any questions,
please do not hesitate to contact me or to contact Mr. Pittman at
Permian Tank.
