Home My WebLink About900030.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE REQUEST TO RESCHEDULE HEARING DATE - LONGMONT FOODS WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, a hearing was scheduled for January 10 , 1990, at 10 : 00 a.m. , to consider the request of Longmont Foods for a Special Review Permit, and WHEREAS, Kenneth Lind, Attorney representing Longmont Foods, submitted a letter to the Board requesting that the hearing be rescheduled to a later date because one of the major witnesses will not be available on January 10 , and WHEREAS, after consideration, the Board deems it advisable to reschedule the hearing of January 10 , 1990 , to February 21 , 1990 , at 10 : 00 a.m. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Longmont Foods hearing of January 10 , 1990 , be, and -hereby is, rescheduled to February 21 , 1990 , at 10 : 00 a-m. Our request for a continuance is based upon the fact that one of the applicant ' s major witnesses is not available for the January 10 , 1990 hearing. At the time the January 10 , 1990 date was conveyed to our office , our office was not aware of the unavailability of the witness. We sincerely apologize for any scheduling problems or inconvenience that this has caused , but we have determined that the testimony from our witness is essential for this application. We agree to be responsible for all costs and expenses of advertising and notification concerning this continuance and we would request that the hearing be continued to a date specific. It is my understanding that Wednesday , February 21 , 1990 is available for a hearing . I have confirmed the availability of our witnesses for February 21 , 1990 and all such witnesses are available on that date.
