RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO WELD COUNTY PRIVATE INDUSTRY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Weld County Private Industry
Council, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that John Swanson (small business) ,
Roberta Miller (large business) , Richard Hillman (small business) , and Betty Lee
(rehabilitation services) be reappointed to said council, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Bill Argo (economic development) be
appointed to said council, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint John Swanson, Roberta
Miller, Richard Hillman, and Betty Lee to said council, with their terms to
expire December 31, 1995, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Bill Argo to said council,
with his term to expire December 31, 1995.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that John Swanson, Roberta Miller, Richard Hillman, and Betty
Lee be, and hereby are, reappointed to said council, with their terms to expire
December 31, 1995.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Bill Argo be, and hereby is,
appointed to said council, with his term to expire December 31, 1995.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 30th day of December, A.D. , 1992.
