RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF LUIS LLERENA TO LOCAL JUVENILE SERVICES PLANNING
COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 19-2-1602.7 of House Bill 93-134 and by
Resolution dated July 7, 1993, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
together with the Chief Judge of the Judicial District, agreed to create the
Local Juvenile Services Planning Committee, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Luis Llerena, Youth Initiative
Director for the City of Greeley, be appointed to said committee, to replace
Debbie Huerta (private) , and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to recommend to the Chief Judge of
the Judicial District that Luis Llerena be appointed to said committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Luis Llerena, Youth Initiative Director for the City of
Greeley, be, and hereby is, recommended to the Chief Judge of the Judicial
District for appointment to the Local Juvenile Services Planning Committee.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 3rd day of October, A.D. , 1994.
