RE: APPROVE CONVERSION OF FOUND PROPERTY AND/OR ABANDONED PROPERTY AND
EVIDENCE TO BE SOLD AT AUCTION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Sheriff has presented to the Board a list of found and/or
abandoned property collected as evidence, and
WHEREAS, the Sheriff has requested the conversion of said property to be
auctioned to the highest bidder on April 23, 1994, at Island Grove Park at 9:00
a.m. , said property being more fully described in the attached Exhibit "A", a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to approve the conversion of said
property and evidence to be sold at auction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned property be, and hereby is, approved
for conversion to be sold at the abovementioned auction.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 6th day of April, A.D. , 1994.
