Dear Weld County Commissioners:
We are announcing several improvements and changes to the cable television service Joshua Cablevision
provides to Weld County. I have enclosed the notification we are sending our subscribers to inform them of these
changes.
First,we are very pleased to announce the expansion of the system's channel line-up with the addition of Country
Music Television,ESPN2,and American Movie Classics.
In addition to this channel expansion,we are eliminating monthly charges for additional outlets and remote
control units which will result in significant savings for many of our customers. We will however,be adding a
monthly charge of$1.35 for the rental of a converter box.
As a result of the increasing cost of local labor,materials,and the programming rates we pay,we are also
adjusting the rate of basic cable service to$20.85.
Finally,consistent with the new FCC Regulations governing cable television,we are now establishing fees for
some in-home service work. We will continue to provide free service to the cable lines outside the home,but
repairs and maintenance relating to in-home cable wiring will be billed at an hourly service rate of$14.95. Joshua
Cablevision has also established an optional"Cable Guard"plan at a nominal monthly cost to enable our
subscribers to avoid any potential repair costs.
We are pleased to be making these improvements and changes in the service we offer our valued customers in
Weld County. We know you will agree that these improvements will be welcomed and will enhance our
subscribers enjoyment of their cable service. Our goal is to provide Weld County with the best value in cable
