RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF "STOP" SIGN ON EAST 19TH STREET ROAD AT BALSAM
AVENUE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineering Department has recommended to the
Board that a "Stop" sign be installed on East 19th Street Road at Balsam Avenue
to insure safety to the traveling public, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that said traffic devices are necessary
for the protection of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Department of Engineering be, and hereby is, directed
to install a "Stop" sign on East 19th Street Road at Balsam Avenue, for the
safety of the general public, and that said sign must conform to the State manual
and specifications.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 28th day of October, A.D. , 1991.
