HomeMy WebLinkAbout911319.tiff RESOLUTION RE: CERTIFICATION OF WINDSOR SHORES SPECIAL ELECTION WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, On October 29, 1991, the Windsor Shores Special Election was held, with the total number of qualified voters casting ballots being two, with said ballots being in favor of the creation of the Windsor Shores Law Enforcement Authority, and WHEREAS, on November 4, 1991, the Board of County Commissioners accepted said Certification of Special Election, thereby making November 29, 1991 the effective date for the creation of the Windsor Shores Law Enforcement Authority, and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to schedule a hearing on December 4, 1991, at 9:00 a.m. to convene as the Board for said Law Enforcement District. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Certification of the Windsor Shores Special Election be, and hereby is, accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that a hearing be, and hereby is, scheduled on December 4, 1991, at 9:00 a.m. to convene as the Board for said Law Enforcement District. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 4th day of November, A.D. , 1991.
