RE: ITEMIZING LEGAL HOLIDAYS DURING CALENDAR YEAR 1993
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, following is a list of holidays to be observed in 1993 as days off
for Weld County employees:
New Year's Day Friday, January 1, 1993
Washington/Lincoln Day Monday, February 15, 1993
Memorial Day Monday, May 31, 1993
Independence Day Sunday, July 4, 1993 (Holiday
is taken on Monday, July 5, 1993)
Friday, July 2, 1993 (replaces
Colorado Day)
Labor Day Monday, September 6, 1993
Veteran's Day Thursday, November 11, 1993
Thanksgiving Thursday, November 25, 1993 and
Friday, November 26, 1993
(replaces King's Birthday)
Christmas Saturday, December 25, 1993
(Holiday is taken Friday, December
24, 1993)
Thursday, December 23, 1993
(replaces Columbus Day)
NOTE: New Year's Day in 1994 falls on Saturday; therefore holiday
will be taken December 31, 1993.
FLOATING HOLIDAYS:
Sheriff's Department (Court Personnel) -- Will follow holiday
schedule as set by State of Colorado.
District Attorney -- July 2, November 26, and December 23, 1993.
Human Resources -- Will follow holiday schedule as set by State of
Colorado.
Head Start and Transportation -- Will follow holiday schedule as set
by School District #6.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the list of holidays as set forth above shall be observed
during the calendar year of 1993 as days off for Weld County employees.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 14th day of October, A.D. , 1992.
