WHEREAS, the Union Pacific Railroad Company has tendered to Weld County, Colo-
rado, an agreement extending tc and including August 31 , 1960 , )g/7ry{1q(iffyfi the
term of that certain lease dated November 13 , 1950 , as extended, Union
Pacific Railroad Company leased to Weld County, Colorado, a portion of its right-of-
way at Frederick , Colorado, covering use of site for warehouse and storage ,
of road machinery . as follows, to-wit:

Special Provisions: Effective September 1, 1959,

rate of $25.00 per annum in lieu of the rental originally
and specified in said lease.
WHEREAS, the Board has said proposed agreement before it and has given it care-
ful review and consideration, and
WHEREAS, it is considered that the best interests of said County will be sub-
served by the acceptance of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado; that the terms of the agreement submitted by Union Pacific Railroad
Company as aforesaid be and the same hereby are accepted _ in behalf of Weld County,
Colorado; that the Chairman of the Board be and is hereby authorized, empowered and
directed to execute said agreement on-behalf of said County, and that the Clerk to tha
Board be and is hereby authorized and directed to attest said agreement ano to attach
to each duplicate original of said agreement a certified copy of this resolution.
The above and foregojng resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopt-
