RE: ACCEPT PETITION FOR A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT - WELD COUNTY ROAD 63
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a Petition for a Local Improvement District was submitted to the
Board by Clinton and Julia Warehime, owners of property which is more
particularly described in said Petition, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to accept said
Petition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Petition for a Local Improvement District on Weld
County Road 63, submitted by Clinton and Julia Warehime be, and hereby is,
accepted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 29th day of April, A.D. , 1991.

PETITION FOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

We, the undersigned citizens of Weld County, who are owners of
record of real property, propose to be assessed the costs for the entire
project, and which property will benefit from improvements in the area of:
Weld County Road 63 from Weld County Road 50, one mile south;
situated in Weld County, Colorado, do hereby petition the Honorable Board
of County Commissioners of the County of Weld, State of Colorado, for the
formation of a local improvement district pursuant to CRS, 30-20-601, et
seq. We represent that the real property listed in this petition will be
assessed the entire $11,500 in costs proposed to be assessed to the local
improvement district. Such improvement district is for the purpose of:
Constructing Weld County' Road 63;
The specific improvements we wish to have constructed are as follows:
Align, grade, and gravel the above-described road, including
relocating one-half mile of fence and 60 feet of 72-inch diameter
culvert.
We request that the following materials be used:
Three inches of aggregate basecourse, 12 feet wide and 60 feet of
72-inch diameter culvert;
The specific manner of assessments we recommend is as follows:
The property owners be assessed $11,500 on the parcel
of land described as follows: The north one-half (N 1/2)
and the southeast one-quarter (SE 1/4) of the northeast
one-quarter (NE 1/4) of Section 7, Township 4 North,
Range 63 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, Weld County,
Colorado.
We request that the cost of the improvements not exceed $11,500;
The specific manner of payment we recommend is as follows:
The $11,500 would be paid over a 10-year period, at an interest rate
of 9%, with the principal being divided into 10 equal annual
payments, and the interest computed to the unpaid balance.

Do not sign this petition unless you are an "owner" of real property
benefitting from the project and requesting to be assessed costs of the
improvements. An owner is a person holding fee title to real property.
You are an "owner" if you hold a contract to purchase real property which
obligates you to pay general taxes on that property. In that instance,
the seller may not sign this petition. CRS, 30-20-602(3) and 603(3) .
