North Weld Sanitary Landfill, Weld County
Dear Mr. Hedberg and Mr. Scheere:
The Hazardous Materials and Waste Management Division (the Division) of the Colorado Departmertt of
Health concurs that the liquids detected in the temporary sump are non-hazardous, and therefore, may be
used for dust control on haul roads within the limits of the landfill.
The Division further concurs that Phase I, Module I liner material was placed in conformance with the
approved design for the North Weld County Landfill.
Roger Doak (692-3437) of the Division will be working with Weld County solid waste facilities in the future.
