RE: SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN, MINOR SUBDIVISION FINAL PLAT IN
THE E (ESTATE)ZONE DISTRICT,AND VARIANCE FROM THE WELD COUNTY
SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE -JERKE
A public hearing was conducted on December 28, 1994, at 10:00 a.m., with the following
present:
Commissioner W. H. Webster, Chairman
Commissioner Dale K. Hall, Pro-Tern
Commissioner George E. Baxter
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller
Planning Department representative, Chuck Cunliffe
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated November 14, 1994, and duly published
November 24, 1994, in the Windsor Beacon, a public hearing was conducted on
December 7, 1994, to consider the request of William H. and Charles W. Jerke for a Site
Specific Development Plan and Minor Subdivision Final Plat in the E (Estate) Zone District.
At said hearing on December 7, 1994, the matter was continued to December 28, 1994,
pursuant to a notice dated December 7, 1994, and duly published December 15, 1994, in
the Windsor Beacon, to consider the request of William H. and Charles W. Jerke for a Site
Specific Development Plan, Minor Subdivision Final Plat in the E (Estate) Zone District, and
Variance from the Weld County Subdivision Ordinance. At said hearing on December 28,
1994, Chairman Webster made this a matter of record. Chuck Cunliffe, Planning
Department representative, stated Bill Jerke, applicant, has requested a one-month
continuance to allow completion of the Central Weld Water District water availability study
and to determine how to provide fire protection service. Mr. Cunliffe noted Mr. Jerke
requested said hearing be held on a Monday or Friday afternoon so that he does not miss
any critical votes on Weld County's behalf. No public testimony was offered concerning the
continuance of this matter. Commissioner Harbert moved to continue the request of
William H. and Charles W. Jerke for a Site Specific Development Plan, Minor Subdivision
Final Plat in the E (Estate) Zone District, and Variance from the Weld County Subdivision
Ordinance, to February 6, 1995, at 1:30 p.m. The motion was seconded by Commissioner
Kirkmeyer, and Commissioner Baxter stated he did not want Mr. Jerke to miss any votes
concerning Weld County either. The motion carried unanimously.
This Certification was approved on the 4th day of January, 1995.
