This office wishes to thank Weld County for its fine cooper- ation in assisting the Department to secure title to the necessary right-of-way for our proposed project. It is anticipated that this project will be advertised for bids on August 16, 1955 which will place the project under contract ready for construction about September 1, 1955. A time limit of sixty days has been placed on this project for the duration of the construction work which, barring bad weather conditions, should insure the completion of that project this fall. Winter RESOLUTION TO SIGN AGREEMENT WITH STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT REGARDING PROJECT S 0034(4) : BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners, Meld County, Colorado, that they hereby approve a certain Agreement with the State Highway Commission of Colorado, a public corporation, for the use and benefit of the Department of Highways of the State of Colorado, dated August 6, 1955, whereby Weld County has reviewed and approved the Geometric Standards designated to govern the construction of a Federal Aid Secondary Project to consist of improvements on State Highway No. 392, extending between Windsor and Lucerne, as per terms of said Agreement on behalf of Weld County by signatures of the Board. That the 19 Annual Average Traffic Volume, as determined from actual vehicular count, by the Planning and Research Division of the Department is found to be 325 vehicles per day. Therefore, in accordance with approved art established practices, the traffic volume twenty years hence is estimated to be 560 vehicles per day. Consequently, the type of construction shall be that designated as Type D-2 of the Geometric Standards dated August 1, 1952, more fully described as follows: The surface shall consist of Medium Bituminous , 22 feet wide on a roadway 30 feet wide. The maximum grade shall be 3.00 percent and the curvature shall not exceed 2 degrees and 0 minutes. The right of ways shall not be less than 3- feet in width, i III. IIr. Y• .I.
